Stoke-on-Trent makes the best ceramics in the world. You can always tell by looking for the backstamp on the back of the plate or the bottom of the cup. if it’s the best it will say ‘Made in England’. 

But now were seeing English tableware replaced with cheap imports and fakes. It’s hurting our industry and we need to start the fight back.  

So, I need your help to map out both where we can find the best UK ceramics around the world and root out the places that haven’t got them yet.

Please tell us below where you’ve seen ceramics made in the UK – post on your social media using #turnoverteam and please tag in Gareth. We also like to know if you’re in public buildings like hospitals, councils, schools, colleges and universities. Please let us know if you see foreign imports in these buildings and we will campaign for change.
